Santorini after Sunset

During the blue hour, Oia is illuminated beautifully and the last daylight is leaving at the horizon. This creates a great mood at Santorini, which only few tourists will see because they all left after the sun had set.

Full Moon over Methana

From Palea Epidauros (here seen from Hotel Yialasi, Panagia), there is a great view to Methana, a volcanic peninsula connected to the Peloponnese. If it is full moon and the moon rises during twilight, it gives a very moody view.

Arriving at the Mani

When driving from Kalamata to the Mani, once you’ve passed the highest point you arrive at this point with a terrific view over the Outer Mani. The Mani starts here with Kardamyli and reaches all the way down to the most southern point of this peninsula on the Peloponnese. On this picture you can also see Stoupa in the background.

A Terrace with a View in Oia, Santorini

On this picture you can see a picturesque Terrace in Oia on the Island of Santorini. Most likely this terrace will have a fantastic view over the island and the Aegean Sea. It probably belongs to a hotel or another touristic accomodation.

Kamari at Santorini

Kamari is very popular amongst tourists visiting Santorini. It has a long, dark beach with a lot of nice taverns. This picture, showing a fantastic view over Kamari and large parts of the island of Santorini, was taken from a mountain a little south of Kamari. On this mountain you can find the excavations of Ancient Thera. This picture was taken from roughly 300m above sea level.
